SPRINGFIELD, IL --
Chief Master Sergeant Rebecca Velazquez has been selected as 183d Wing Command Chief.
Chief Velazquez has been serving for 26 years, previously as Air Force Active Duty, then Reserves, and now as Air National Guard.
She has been with the 183d for 11 years, and brings the necessary knowledge and skills to advise the Wing commander on matters of health, morale, welfare, training, and professional development of approximately 800 Airmen assigned to the 183d Wing.
