Maintenance Arm Demonstration

An engineer from the civilian aircraft industry takes measurements with a portable coordinate measuring arm in the Centralized Repair Facility at the 183d Wing, Springfield, Illinois, July 13, 2022. Along with aligning aircraft components, the arm may also be able to aid in 3D inspections, tool certifications, dimensional analysis and reverse engineering.
