183d Wing Assumption of Command

Airmen of the 183d Wing, Springfield, IL, stand at attention and render a salute during the playing of the National Anthem during an Assumption of Command Ceremony for Col. Shawn D. Strahle, 27 June 2024. Col. Strahle assumed command as the 13th Commander of the 183d Wing. The formal assumption of command ceremony affords troops the opportunity to witness a new leader assuming their dutiful position.
